Theme colours – how we came to it, meaning, etc

Although one of my favourite colours is blue, I told myself that I do not have to go with that this time! One day I just had an impression in me… to ask Wern Lu what the colour of her Bible was, having a feeling that that could very well just be the theme colours to our wedding (although I did not tell her why I was asking her for the colour of her bible). She answered “Orange and pink.” I kept quiet and didn’t think much about it. I was looking more towards wood-colours like brown... perhaps because of my personality? A couple of days later, Wern Lu showed me a wedding-colour-coordination chart which allows one to see all possible workable combinations for colour themes! We talked about a Leap of Faith Wedding (2008, being a leap year!) and what colours could possibly describe that. Out of a sudden, she suggested brown, tangerine and hot pink! I was like BINGO! …now the first tug I had in my heart (about her bible colour) and my preference for brown/chocolate made sense! It has all come together!
