I remember sitting a few seats away from wern lu during supper at Darulsalam after a 2015 event in ACTS in 2005. I noticed this “sophisticated looking” gal but never thought much of her after that. It was in August 2006 that I actually shook hands (typical pastor’sgreeting!) with her and introduced myself to her after a Saturday LIFE@5 service. She came with her friend Debra and that night, joined a bunch of us for dinner at Paris Restaurant, PJ. I happen to sit opposite her and the table’s conversation went towards going for a 1-man play at the Actor’s studio (Gospel of Luke). That night, I took down her number… at Paris……. to confirm the plan for the outing to see The Gospel of Luke. The outing to Actor’s Studio took place in September with 2 guys and 9 girls going! Supper time, I sat opposite her. Leaving the mamak place, it crossed my mind, “what if I actually end up with this really hot but cool gal?”

How alex and I first met and how this website got up and running have one thing in common: Jason Ding! Way back in ’06, Jason invited me to a party – ACTS 2015 event. I’m a pretty shy person (cough, cough) but I went anyway. But of course the party was wayyy cool, and that was how I first met ‘Pastor Alex’. *grin* Of course being observant as he is, noticed there was this new gal visiting lah. So introductions, hellos were exchanged. *another grin*

….But nothing happened. HAHAHHAHAHA…

After occasional visits to ACTS, we finally properly conversed at Paris, ss2 (a really hip Chinese restaurant, LOL) at a big group farewell-cum-birthday dinner do. We had a few big-group makan / meet-ups after that. So first it was Paris. And after that a play. And then at a mamak place. And then up next a group movie outing. Ahh.. that was when / where it ‘happened’ ;)
